I made this bracelet up above. The three colors mean something. The color green is for my cousins favorite color. The color purple is my favorite color. And the color black is for when he got into his motorcycle accident. It stands for ‘Even though you are so weak sometimes, you are still the strongest person I know’. Over the summer of 2012, my cousin got into a motorcycle accident, and he was life flighted to a hospital. He was already training to go into the air force at the time, and the accident kept him from going in as soon as he thought he was going to. We just got close about three years ago, he started talking to me at a christmas party and I had been texting so he asked my what my number was. I wouldn’t give it to him so he asked my sister and my sister gave it to him. Since then, we had texted about every day for about a year. Then we didn’t talk as much. When I found out he was going into the air force it made me sad and I don’t want him to go. When he got into the accident, I wanted to go down to the hospital right when I found out but I didn’t. I went down the next day lol. My dad had gone down before me to see how he was and asked if he would like me to come down and see him. My dad said that when he mentioned me going down to the hospital, his mood lightened. When I went down the first thing my cousin said was “I’m okay, I promise”. I wanted to cry my eyes out. He had broken his jaw and had to get it wired shut, and he couldn’t eat solid things for about two months. He lost a lot of weight and he was really skinny to begin with. I feel like I’m hugging nothing when I hug him! He’s back training, trying to get as tough for the air force again. When he leaves, I’m going to be really sad and probably cry my eyes out. I’m going to miss him so much. I almost lost him once, I don’t want to loose him again. I’m going to miss all the memory’s I have with him, like when he would work on his cars and play music and start dancing funny so I would laugh my head off. I love you. When he leaves soon, I hope he stays safe down in the air force. He is my true hero for surviving the accident, and going into the air force.
